Towards shared metadata for academic A/V

This project deals with metadata mainly in two forms:

a) discussion of a metadata scheme "Opencast Core" to become part of the Matterhorn standard installation; for the current implementation please refer to the Matterhorn wiki.

b) discussion of a subset of this scheme to be used in syndication (feed).

Discussions for the latter will take place in a wiki within the the UK-based Steeple project.
