ETH Zurich is a science and technology university with an outstanding research record. With respect to audio and video, ETH Zurich aims at outstanding content, produced and disseminated with state-of-the-art technology. Since 2006, Multimedia Services have developed REPLAY as an Open Source technology to manage audiovisual content in an academic environment, which is now operational at ETH. Since 2009, ETH Zurich is a contributing towards Opencast Matterhorn which we consider to become a legitimate successor for REPLAY in the near future.
